The strategy of HBN-Teknik is to use innovative approaches to challenge the market and see opportunities where others see limits. This strategy led to one of the world’s first injection molded mudguards in 1986, to integrated antispray solutions in 1994, and to new innovative air spring pistons in 2003.
All of this would not be possible without our customers, and we strive to continue this innovative approach together with our customers. We believe that we together with our customers can create environmentally friendly, cheaper, and better solutions.

Product Development
Is there a product that you need to develop? From an idea to a technical drawing, we are ready to help you with the development of the product. We see the development of the product as a partnership and together we will find the solution that is most suitable for our collaboration in terms of development, project management, technical support, purchase of mould, material testing, etc.
Before any product can be released for sale, it has passed our rigorous quality system. Our processes are highly controlled and followed up. Before an innovation goes into serial production, we also offer the service of prototyping, which is part of our overall innovation process and a necessity for testing and quality assurance.
Product Improvements
One example of our product improvements is our new mudguard which will be released in 2023. Here we have focused on weight optimization. The new mudguard is approximately 1,2 kg. lighter which means that the solution is more environmentally friendly and cheaper for our customers. Furthermore, the surface of the mudguard has been redesigned to improve resistance to scratches and create a modern look.
We use our 3D scanner to ensure that the products are meeting the defined product specifications. Furthermore, it is also used to check the quality through scanning and analysis. For example, we scan one item on each pallet of air spring pistons to make sure that all pallets sent from HBN-Teknik only contain products of the highest quality.
Our injection molded products are created with advanced, fully automatic, easily manageable, and controlled processes. We are using the best equipment available, and we have built up a strong manufacturing competence through a long experience from our in-house automatic production in this field sing 1986.
Our innovative approach also means that we are constantly looking into improving our products.
